Cajun cornbread stuffing with ANDOUILLE SAUSAGE – need we say more?
Ingredients and Cooking Instructions
1 pack of Best Stop Andouille Sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 celery stalks, finely chopped
1/4 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
4 cups of cornbread, crumbled
1/2 cup of chicken broth
2 tablespoons of apple cider (optional)
Start by dicing two Andouille sausages from The Best Stop. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced Andouille sausage until it’s nicely browned, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Once done, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, where the delicious sausage drippings remain, add one finely chopped onion, three minced garlic cloves, and two finely chopped celery stalks. Sauté these aromatic vegetables for about 5 minutes until they become soft and fragrant. Sprinkle the sautéed vegetables with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper, ensuring they are well coated with these flavorful spices.
Now, in a large bowl, place four cups of crumbled cornbread. Add the sautéed vegetables and the Andouille sausage to the bowl, mixing everything together. Pour half a cup of chicken broth over the mixture, stirring until the cornbread has absorbed the broth. If you like, you can add two tablespoons of apple cider for a touch of sweetness.
Grease a baking dish and transfer the stuffing mixture into it. Dot the top with small pieces of butter. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until the top turns golden and crispy.
Serve your Andouille and Cornbread Stuffing as a delightful Cajun side dish for your holiday meal.

Ingredients and Cooking Instructions
1 pound green beans, trimmed
1/2 pound Best Stop Pork Tasso, cubed
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Best Stop Garlic Cajun Seasoning to taste
Start by preparing the green beans. Trim the ends and cut them into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they’re ready for cooking. Set them aside.
In a large skillet, heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the tasso chunks from The Best Stop and sauté them until they become nicely browned, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Once they are browned to perfection, remove the tasso chunks from the skillet and set them aside.
In the same skillet, where the delicious tasso drippings remain, add one large onion that you’ve thinly sliced. Sauté the onions until they become soft and translucent, which should take about 5 minutes. Be sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet as they’re packed with flavor.
Return the browned tasso chunks to the skillet with the sautéed onions. Mix them well.
Now add the trimmed and cut green beans to the skillet. Stir everything together, ensuring that the green beans are well-coated with the tasso and onion mixture. Season with the Best Stop Garlic Cajun Seasoning to taste, ensuring that the flavors are to your liking.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the green beans simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of tenderness. Be sure to stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the green beans are perfectly cooked, transfer them to a serving platter. Ensure all the flavorful tasso and onions are spread evenly over the beans before serving.
